Les fleurs du passé is a visual collection originating from a summer in Paris and later reconstructed six months after the experience of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Through experimental photography and typography, the work revisits memory rather than place, allowing recollection to shift, blur, and become subtly unreal over time.
As the project continues alongside the artist’s life journey, later experiences leave their traces. A winter visit to Suzhou, informed by the carved window patterns of the Canglang Pavilion (沧浪亭), introduces a layered perspective of viewing through constraint.
