The human sorrows and joys aren’t necessarily connected to others.
I found an instagram account that collects all the place in the world with a sad name. Lake of No Return, Shed of Tear Islands, Labor in Vain Cape…I have collected together and are inspired for creating an artificial isolated island with them. Together, it forms all the sadness in the world. 
As there would be an individual world on every person, it is consisted of everything that people experience. An installation was created based on the imaginative island combinations where all the sadness is stored in the exact place.
The creation involves material experiment, sketch and the handcrafting. After the islands were finalised, a transparent water tank was made beneath for the reflection.
